About Dr. Mason
A Whole-Body Approach to Chiropractic Care
Dr. Mason was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. Before pursuing his chiropractic education, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
He later attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he developed a strong interest in treating the body as a complete, interconnected system.
His philosophy is simple:
“I believe in looking at the overall function of the body and not just the spine.”
For Dr. Mason, chiropractic care is about more than adjusting the spine. Muscles and other soft tissues play an important role in how the bones and joints move. While chiropractic adjustments can help address joint misalignments and restrictions, he believes the surrounding soft tissue should also be considered when working toward better movement and function.
Education & Training
Building a Comprehensive Approach to Care
While attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Mason worked as a rehabilitation intern in the clinic’s rehabilitation center.
During his internship, he gained hands-on experience helping patients rehabilitate soft tissue injuries and address soft tissue imbalances and instability.
Dr. Mason also completed a series of seminars focused primarily on evaluating and adjusting the joints of the arms and legs. This additional training helped expand his approach beyond the spine and gave him greater insight into how different areas of the body work together.

Dr. Mason’s Philosophy
Treating More Than the Spine
The body does not move as a collection of separate parts. Muscles, bones, joints, and soft tissues all work together to create movement.
That connection plays an important role in Dr. Mason’s approach to chiropractic care.
Chiropractic adjustments can help improve joint alignment and mobility, but addressing only the joint may overlook other factors contributing to the problem. By considering muscle function, soft tissue, joint mobility, and overall movement, Dr. Mason works to provide care that addresses the bigger picture.
His goal is to help patients not only find relief, but also move and function better in their everyday lives.
Giving Back Through Chiropractic
Providing Care Beyond the Clinic
While attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Mason participated in a clinic abroad trip to Bequia, an island in the Caribbean.
Alongside fellow classmates, he helped provide chiropractic care to members of a community with limited access to healthcare services.
The experience gave Dr. Mason an opportunity to use his chiropractic training to serve others while gaining valuable hands-on experience working with patients from different backgrounds.
Outside the Office
A Passion for Running and Staying Active
Dr. Mason understands the importance of movement both professionally and personally.
In his spare time, he is an avid runner and has completed six marathons across the United States. His passion for running gives him a personal appreciation for the demands that exercise, training, and an active lifestyle can place on the body.
Whether he is working with an athlete, an active adult, or someone simply trying to move more comfortably, Dr. Mason brings that movement-focused perspective into the care he provides.
